Dead Deer Removal: Why Timing Matters
Last week, we received a call from a homeowner who had just returned from a few days out of town. When they pulled into their driveway, they were hit with an awful smell. After some searching, they discovered a dead deer tucked away on their property.
They contacted Frontline Wildlife Removal for assistance.
We were able to get out there within a few hours to remove the deer. That timing was crucial—if a carcass sits too long, it not only becomes extremely difficult (and messy) to remove but also starts posing serious health and safety risks. Decomposing animals attract flies, maggots, and other scavengers, and the smell alone can be overwhelming. In some cases, they can even contaminate nearby soil or water sources.
Fortunately, in this case, we got there just in time. The deer was starting to decompose but was still manageable for a safe and clean removal.
If you ever find yourself dealing with something similar, don’t wait. Give us a call right away—your nose (and neighbors) will thank you!
